It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? I’ve been kept busy by focusing on teaching these past two years as a full-time lecturer in art at UW-Madison, along with bursts of research and writing. While I’m still making, it’s been slower and (I’d like to think) more thoughtful.
There have been two opportunities in the recent past to visit my work in person - these I would like to highlight. The first recently closed this last Sunday - that is the Convergence group show at the Textile Arts Center of Madison. Big love to Annmarie Suglio for pulling this beautiful group of works, celebrating contemporary textile art. Weird, wonderful, and rooted.

The other, which will continue to be on view through fall is Like Magic at MASS MoCA, which you can read more on below. I’ve been receiving messages from around the country from visitors who saw my work. Flail Broom seems to be a real point of interest.

At the end of this summer, I will be relocating to SoCal. Very excited for this new beginning in a warmer climate. Are you from the San Diego/LA area? Hit me up!
